Welcome to the new
sport of Jumper Derby to Belle River Farms. The Derby
will be held on the Saturday of each event weekend.
The Jumper Derby is a timed race over a course of both show jump
and cross country fences, combining the speed and accuracy of show
jumping with the boldness of cross country riding.
The Jumper Derby will consist of potentially two
rounds per rider. All riders will jump the course in Round
1. Those riders who complete Round 1 within the time allowed
and with no jumping faults will remain in the ring to ride the
jump-off course. The jump off course will be a shortened
version of the Round 1 course. The rider who completes the
jump-off course in the fastest time with the lowest number of
faults is the winner.
The Belle River Jumper Derby offers four levels of
competition, each increasing in height and difficulty.
Jumping efforts listed below are Stadium and Cross Country
combined. You may enter multiple divisions, (I.E. Beg.
